Featured Sponsor: Colectivo Coffee

We are delighted to be able to announce our featured sponsor for this year's event:  Colectivo Coffee.  As a locally-owned company, they recognize the importance of supporting the community that supports them and with this attitude they have made Milwaukee a more creative and interesting place to live.

One of our goals at Hover Craft is to utilize our sponsorship positions to shed light on great local businesses who do great things.  Colectivo came on our radar when they began hosting our sister summer market, Maker Market, in the parking lot of their Bay View location.  Outreach has always been a strong goal of Colectivo and with their partnership, we have been able to work together to give opportunities to many great area artists.

"As a company, we were founded on the pursuit of hand-made and continue to be inspired by this today, some twenty years later. We have always valued artistry and craft. Our products and cafes celebrate the hand-made ethic."

Colectivo will be serving/selling 12oz cups of two different pour over brews at Hover Craft - one is a holiday edition, Snow Day 2014, and the other is a special Featured Farm offering, Guatemala Mountain of Flowers - Chabelo.

Snow Day
Every year, Colectivo customers and staff look forward to the arrival of our much-anticipated holiday blend almost as much as school kids looking forward to a snow day. It's a great way to celebrate some of the coffees we’ve enjoyed in 2013 in a well-balanced, satisfying cup, and this year’s blend is sure to please. Subtle fruit and cocoa tones are just the thing to warm your mittens this holiday season. Enjoy!

Guatemala Mountain of Flowers - Chabelo
During our visit to Antigua, Guatemala, we tasted our way through the highest quality samples from Bella Vista mill. Our goal was to select the best coffee of the year and offer it as a special “Reserve Lot.” The coffee we chose is a very small lot from the peak-of-the-harvest delivery of 100% Bourbon variety coffee from a single farmer, Jose Isabel Hernandez Martinez (a.k.a. "Chabelo”). Chabelo grows his coffee at elevations ranging from 1,500 to 1,800 meters above sea level and dries it on patios under the Antigua sun. Its vibrant, cherry-toned acidity, tropical fruit and sweet orange notes, and deep, creamy body are just a few of the exceptional qualities found in this coffee. Please enjoy Mountain of Flowers – Chabelo.
